Eisenhower Park is located on the Northwest corner of Tustin Street and Lincoln Avenue in the city of Orange, it is open to the public, free admission and has plenty of free parking. Large lake available for catch and release fishing, so you can't keep the fish you catch, you have to throw them back, but yes fishing is permitted here. Near the Bixby Avenue entrance of the park, follow the water flowing down the creek it eventually leads to a waterfall that flows underneath a bridge and connects to the fishing lake, no swimming, bathing or boating allowed in the lake. The park also has two playgrounds on sand, with swings, slides and more fun stuff for the kids to enjoy. Lots of ducks, geese, squirrels, birds, fish, turtles and other wildlife to observe. Eisenhower Park is an awesome park in my opinion because you can go there to: fish, BBQ, play with the ducks or geese, have a picnic, enjoy all the hills, or my favorite, skateboard down hills at very dangerous speeds.
No Warm water in the restrooms to wash your hands. Also, the bathroom stalls at Eisenhower Park do not have doors, so you have to poop in front of people. I'm not talking about the bathroom entrance door, I'm talking about the actual bathroom stalls where the toilet is. The layout forces anyone who walks into the bathroom to see at you taking a Trump or wiping your Donald. The sinks inside the men's bathroom are worse than the sinks inside the Orange County Jail because the water spouts are inconveniently placed way to close to the sink bowl and there is little water pressure, but there is soap to wash your hands. Most bathrooms in Orange County do not have soap inside the restrooms, depending on the geographic location and social demographics. Park bathrooms with soap, toilet paper, warm water, comfort and privacy are usually found near or in upper middle-class to rich public communities and neighborhoods, especially in areas where public buses do not operate. For example, Olive Dog Park, down the street from Eisenhower Park, in Anaheim Hills, has private bathrooms with exfoliating soap and warm water, while other parks like Lemon Street Park or Killefer Park in the Cypress Street Barrio don't even have restrooms at all. Restrooms at Eisenhower Park are poorly managed, not stocked or kept up, so bring your own toilet paper.
